The Pre-Primary School Programme at Green Valley International School comprises Nursery, Lower KG and Upper KG. These are the formative & vital years of learning. The pre-primary curriculumisdelivered through the ‘ILLUME’ approach based on the premise that each child is unique, has infinite
potential, learns best through observation and constructs his/her own knowledge in multiple ways.
PRIMARY
I to V
The Primary School Programme focuses on the child’s potential both inside and outside the classroom. Our purpose is to make these years exciting and at the same time fulfilling & productive.The children are encouraged to participate in broad spectrum of co-curricular activities and projects. By the time children move to the Middle School Programme, they will have ‘learnt to learn’.
MIDDLE
VI to VIII
At this stage, we aim at developing their physical abilities and achieve high standards of attainment in academics and extracurricular activities. We understand the importance of competitions for the children, especially as they progress and develop through the school. For this, all the students are givenclubs and houses to choose from & are given opportunities to compete in Inter-house Competitions of multi-genre such as sports, debates, dances and music, art, dramatics etc.
SECONDARY
IX to X
The surroundings and daily life activities and situations are the best experiential teachers for the students. Teachers draw examples and group activities from daily life observations within the campus and surroundings and encourage presentations by the students to develop their critical thinking and communication skills. We aim at all-round development ofstudents with holistic approach to education with integration of cocurricular activities.
SENIOR-SECONDARY
XI to XII
The curriculum envisages individualized personal learning acumen and seeks to explore the potential of students in acquiring substantial acknowledge and skills through academic rigors. With greater academic orientation and research skills incore academic areas, students would evolve as discerning young adults with a sense of real self-esteem having true values and principles. We, at Green Valley International School provide an integrated course that assures the students to excel in both CBSE and competitive exams.
